A bright and airy Span house gets an injection of colour and pattern
Winner – Residential Interior (Private Residence) – UK Property Awards 2021-2022
Span houses are well-known for their floor to ceiling windows which flood the spaces with natural light, and it was important for my client not to lose this feeling of light and space.
Colour psychology plays an important part in my design work as I strongly believe that colour choices significantly affect how we think, how we feel and how we behave. My client is predominately a spring personality. The colours in this group are warm, yellow-based tones that are delicate and bright. These colours are full of the lively, happy energy that is associated with springtime.
