A homely scheme full of colour and texture
This Kew Interior Design project focussed on a period property that had been my clients’ home for many years, but when their son flew the nest they decided it was time for a change. The owners wanted a clean but colourful scheme, incorporating lots of texture whilst staying true to the story of the house.
The project covered refurbishing two living rooms, one for him and one for her, alongside a cosy dining room that also doubles as a home office. The enlarged kitchen incorporates a casual dining space, and the project was completed with an update to the master bedroom and bathroom.
The project evolved over a couple of years, and the finished scheme is bursting with colour. It incorporates a mix of old and new pieces, bespoke commissioned rugs and designer lighting to create a scheme that is calming and homely, but with a nod to the clients’ sense of fun.
