My client was looking for an eclectic interior design specialist in South London with extensive experience of designing joyful homes for families and who would confidently create a scheme built around adding colour, pattern whilst maintaining an diverse feel.
This project mostly focused on redecorating the middle floor of this three-storey house, creating two bedrooms, a home office and a bathroom. The colour scheme is influenced by the bright, striped carpet on the stairs and landing, with the different rooms spilling out from there. The downstairs area was given a quick refresh with paint and tiles to provide a canvas for her baskets.
The décor reflects my client’s Zimbabwean / Chinese heritage, her love of travel, and her penchant for scouring the shops for treasures, whether the boutique stores around Crystal Palace, or the weavers’ markets in Rwanda.
The finished result is an eclectic mix of joy and colour!
