Part of the iconic Megaro Hotel situated in the heart of London's King's Cross, the Megaro Bar, with its underground location, is where the
speakeasy spirit of the prohibition era lives on. The Megaro Bar is all about sipping uniquely crafted cocktails in a gritty, suave but relaxed space.
To accentuate the ambience of the sultry low lighting and cosy cinema-style seating, the walls were decorated with a glamorous flocked wallpaper and black and white photography.
In The Picture Room, which is available for private hire, the panelled walls were completely covered in period black and white portraits, inspired by classic film sets.
The new design was accomplished within a tight design budget and the transformation was completed outside of bar working hours.
